QuickStart I (Foam Ball 36’
Court)
Introduce your child to tennis through the Parks and Recreation QuickStart Program. In this class children will learn, ready position, forehand and backhand ground strokes, forehand volleys and basic footwork on the 36’ ft court. Games are an important part of the program and the children will be exposed to games that are both fun and tennis related.

QuickStart II (Foam Ball 36’
Court)
In this class children will continue to work on, forehand and backhand ground strokes, forehand volleys, and footwork. Children will be introduced to scoring, serving, drop hitting, backhand volleys, overheads, topspin ground strokes and how to initiate a rally on the 36’ft court. Children at this level may start to participate in tournaments, match play and leagues.

QuickStart III (Foam Ball 36’
Court) Coaches Approval
Children in this group are playing in tournaments, leagues and match play. Children will continue to work on all skills of the 36’ court including, spins, strategy and tactics.

MAKE UP POLICY
Participants are allowed to
schedule make-up classes on other days. Make-ups may not be done in higher level
